Lance Flamino, Advisory Board
Lance Flamino
Lance is a lifelong runner who began participating in road races and track as a young child. He first became involved in coaching as a youth track volunteer while in high school and never looked back. He has coached hundreds of high school and individual athletes of all abilities from athletes who start struggling to jog a mile, D1 athletes, and world mountain marathon competitors. He firmly believes that wherever you are in your running journey there is great value in lacing up and getting out the door and embracing his favorite saying: Be the best at being better. Happy Running!
Sean Radcliffe, webmaster
Sean Radcliffe has been running since his freshman year in high school when he ran a 5:25 mile in gym class which led him to join the cross country and track teams. Ever since, Sean has found running to be instrumental in keeping his body, mind and spirit healthy and positive. After moving to the Monadnock area in 2004, Sean crossed running paths with John Tallarico and Helen Bradler who informed him of the Monadnock Milers running club. After experiencing some MRM chillers, Sean was sold. He loves the community and appreciates the insistence to get out into the cold and with others have a fun run.
In 2017, Sean designed a new website for the club with the help of other members. As a computer software professional with web technology experience, it was a natural fit for Sean’s role in the club. Sean can be found running on country roads and trails around the Monadnock area.
New Co-President Becka Lyons
The other co president Becka Lyons has been running since the 5th grade, joining the high school cross country team in the 7th grade to be coached by Mike Smith when the middle school team didn’t have enough participation. Under Smith, Becka learned not only the ins and outs of running and won the 2006 Division 3 XC Championship Team title, but also all of the life skills that go with it; perseverance, goal setting, determination, and grit just to name a few. It would be those life skills that carried her from Mascenic Regional High School onto Quinnipiac University to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and eventually open her own PT clinic with her husband, Elevation Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab in Peterborough, NH. Combining her passions for running and therapy, Becka held the Assistant Coach position for all things running at Mascenic for the last 4 years, bringing home both a boy’s and girl’s Division 3 team titles (only other Girl’s title since 2006!). When not at Elevation PT, Becka is usually found on the trails with her husband and black lab, gardening, or curled up with a book and a cup of tea.
