Such a weird year

There is not much news to report. Running outside continues to be safe, COVD-19 continues to be weird and unpredictable, and local racing is still not in the near future. It is August so many of the biting insects have receded and the drier, cooler weather is starting. I personally had no expectations that this ordeal of COVID-19 was going to pass quickly. I am mentally prepared for many more months of this. Still I am struggling to get out there an hit the road/trails and get run some miles. For me, it clearly has been harder this year. I am thankful for the Outrun the Outbreak Virtual Marathon to keep me running regularly. I know there are others in our running community, in our club out there running.
