2020 Hunting Season Has Started

Autumn is a great time to run outside! No bugs, no heat, no ice and the trees are showing their colors. I love running trails this time of year. But we have to be careful of how and where we run because hunting season has started. Some trails prohibit hiking but many trails are on private lands. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Wear bright colored clothes - blaze orange, neon yellow or green, bright blue or pink!!! Do not wear white!!!!

Below are scheduled hunting dates in New Hampshire.

9/15- 12/15 Deer & turkey / archery
10/12 - 10/18 Turkey / shotgun
10/24-25 Youth deer hunting weekend
10/31 - 11/10 Deer /muzzle loader
11/11- 12/6 Deer / regular firearms
