Who We Are
The Monadnock Regional Milers are made up of members from towns all over the Monadnock area and beyond! In addition to our “running members,” we are also grateful to have a fantastic group of local Sponsors rounding out “who we are.”
“Who We Are” is a place you can find Member Bios as well as other stories related to our community members!

Running During COVID-19 Survey Results
Below is a link to the Running During COVID-19 Survey Results. We have mostly kept running. [Hurray!]. We are mostly solitary, outdoors runners. We are mostly self motivated but a good percentage could use some help with motivation. Over 50% do not want to train or race with a mask.
Running in the spring...with the risk of COVID-19
For the past several weeks, running outside has been very enjoyable. The snow and ice is gone. They bugs are still not out (for the most part). I haven’t needed to run with anything more than 1 layer of clothing without feeling over heated or cold. It’s a great time of year to run when it isn’t raining. :) Well, the trails are quite wet and dirt roads are muddy but running on paved country roads is close to perfect.
I am starting to reflect fondly on the training runs and races I have done with others. The long “Bagel Mill” runs on Sunday seem long ago. I am also missing the social life, seeing runners at chillers and local MAGP races. Personally, I hope the summer racing season will be able to start but it is not clear when that will be possible. More than ever before, I enjoy and need to run because it helps my head. All the uncertainty of the world can be troubling and running is a way to re-connect with basic joys: clean air, deep breathing and the beautiful Monadnock Region.
