Jaffrey Chiller#2 at Jaffrey , 2025

The second chiller of 2025 was real chiller on February 1st. Overnight snow dropped a good 4 to 6 inches but thankfully the street plows had cleared most of the snow by race time. The roads still had a thin layer of snow and slush on top making running challenging. The Jaffrey Rec center’s parking lot was nearly filled with cars of people wanting to run. The club had 37 runners, with their traction, come out to run in the snow. Yeah, we like a snowy chiller race. Reuben Lyons won the race with a time of 19:43 and Casey McGee again was first female with a time of 24:50. Thanks to everyone who brought dry good foods for the Food Bank. Thanks to Jaffrey Rec center and Jim Mormando for use of the facility. Thanks for everyone who drove and ran through the snow. Temple is next.
