Hancock Chiller #1, 2023

The previous day’s snow hung to all the trees. Skies were cloudy and cold, in twenties but there was no wind. Thirty seven runners gathered in the Hancock meeting house to run the first chiller since 2020. The recent snows slowed everyone down. Many ran with traction as the dirt roads were snow covered although sanded. Still, it was a delight to run in such winter beauty. Oliver EllerKamp easily won the 3.3 mile race at 20:40 and Beck Lyons was first female at 27:25. Thanks for everyone who participated and for all the food bank donations.
