Wednesday Night Track - ConVal Parking Lot - 6 PM
We had our first “official” Wednesday Night Speed Workout with lots of familiar and new faces present! Our main workout was a good introduction to the season with 10 x 200 m repeats, performed just faster than 5k pace. It felt great to open up the throttle a bit after what tends to become the slog of winter miles and snowy/icy trail running where you spend more time staying upright than focusing on form.
In addition to those participating in 10 x 200s, we also had a Walk to Run program and a Return to Running Post Injury program taking place. So, if you aren’t sure you are ready to take on the “whole workout” or you're finding your way back to running, there is something for everyone and we’d love to have you and provide some guidance on your journey to running & health.
Speaking of health, Harlow’s will be kept in business on Wednesday’s by a growing group of runner’s refueling post-workout! The more the merrier, so pack a change of clothes (or don’t I guess…) and pull up a seat at the table to fill up, rehydrate, and socialize! If you can’t make it to the run, but want some community engagement join us - your mental health is important too!
